#Moncler, what can I say other than taking the #puffer trend and executing it everywhere, in every colour and on everyone was genius. The most snapped item was the orange and pink puffer gown and jacket. I have used very similar, classically clashing tones in my project Jugar, set to open next month.
Having watched all the big brand shows too, the biggest trend to come out of #Milan in juxtaposition to #Paris and #London, was head to toe colour blocking. I am a massive fan of this both in terms of my wardrobe and my creative output. We saw an installation in Brooklyn early last year which featured colour blocked rooms (Click here) and now, I just need a client brave enough.
Reviewing London, Paris, New York and Milan, the biggest take out for me was accepting we are living through incredible times of change. There is a paradigm shift occurring in politics, ethics and our understanding of our fallible, fleeting moments on this earth. Creatives are encompassed in all of this and our output is a reaction to these evolutions but we can also drive change. To focus on inclusivity and sustainability is my mantra for 2019.
